Episodes

Season One will include five episodes.  Each episode is three to five minutes in length and will be shot with one camera and in a single location — the bookstore.

Episode One: Make bookstores great again.

Michael's Grand Opening Event is ruined when the Mayor, unable to attend,  sends his politically ambitious and conservative 14 year-old son as his surrogate for the ribbon cutting. 

episode two: what else do you sell?

A window-shopping couple becomes irate with Michael when they  learn the store only sells books — philosophy books. 

episode three: nihilist night

Micheal prepares the store for a Nihilist Book Club meeting, but is disheartened when no one attends.

After leaving her octogenarian lover, Claire returns to Michael and the bookstore for emotional support. 

Michael realizes that he is falling in love with Lenka.  

A man with with three Rottweilers challenges Micheal's "no dogs" rule.
